Right, its a long story, but i basicly bought it for the winch and overdrive.
for starters it has no logbook though that dosent seem to worry most people.
the previous owner attatched a series 2a tax exempt logbook to it but this is wrong, so i have delt with this and
is not available.
its a series 3 88" with no cab or roof at all (but currently has my spare roof on it to keep it dry)
tidy lwb rims with pretty good a/t's
it has a 4203 perkins that runs and starts well when a good battery is fitted.
it is generally very solid, but does need the rear x-member at least plating and will need front dumb irons, not because
they are rotten, but because the previous owner fitted unbelieveably huge "girder" box sections to the front to fit a capstan.
front springs are looking tired and the steering needs a grease up.
seat bases are 1 piece full width home made jobbies.
rear tailgate is a home made heavy duty one out of steel. but it has been very well made and looks like a standard one too.
bulkhead is pretty solid, has had foot wells and havent been fitted very nicely. out riggers all solid.
door bottoms are mint and have been looked after in the past. tops arent floppy but window channels are shot.
only got a few pics at the mo but message me if interested.
looking in the area of £500 ono more because of the engine and value of parts if broken. but i will throw in a nos rear x-member, straight front bumper.
quite tatty in general, but pretty solid compared to most.
